Tall stems are topped with masses of pure blue flowers on purple spikes from late spring to early summer, but sporadic additional bloom may continue throughout much of the remaining summer. Cutting plants back after the first flowering promotes re-bloom. 'Blue Hill' loves moist, fast-draining soil and is deer-resistant.
